Over the past 44 years, Coach Hayes has been more than just a coach – he has been a mentor, a friend, and an inspiration to those around him. Of his 44 years in coaching, Coach Hayes spent 37 of those years at Midway.
Under Coach Hayes' guidance, our teams have achieved remarkable success, both on and off the court. Coach Hayes’ influence extended beyond the game as he worked tirelessly to continuously to guide students in their academics, and to improve the facilities for our student-athletes.
Thank you, Coach Hayes, for believing in our students and student-athletes, and for always pushing them to be their best.
As Coach Hayes begins his retirement, we want to wish him nothing but the best for everything that he has done for the Midway community. His dedication and passion have truly made a difference that will carry on for years to come.
